About Us

Welcome to Plantegarden, a practical guide for growing food and plants in small spaces. This site focuses on helping people build productive gardens in apartments, patios, balconies, and small backyards, especially in hot and humid climates like Florida.

Urban gardening can feel limited at first, but with the right approach, even a small space can produce herbs, vegetables, and fruit trees. Plantegarden is built around simple, real-world growing methods that don’t require expensive tools or large land.

Who I Am

I’m Ferdi Jorda, the creator behind Plantegarden. My gardening journey started in a small urban space where I began experimenting with growing vegetables, fruit trees, and tropical plants. Over time, I learned what actually works in real conditions — not just theory.

Through trial, failure, and consistent practice, I developed simple methods for growing plants in containers, small yards, and limited soil spaces. This site is where I document those experiences.

What You’ll Find Here

Plantegarden focuses on three main areas:

  • Moringa growing, pruning, and care in warm climates
  • Fruit tree guides for small spaces and backyard growing
  • Vegetable gardening techniques for containers and small gardens

Every guide is written to be practical, simple, and based on real growing experience.

Our Goal

The goal of Plantegarden is to make gardening less complicated and more accessible. Whether you’re growing your first plant or improving an existing garden, the aim is to help you grow confidently in any space you have.
